At All Abilities Bike, we believe everyone—regardless of ability—deserves the opportunity to experience the freedom, confidence, and joy of riding a bike. As demand for inclusive, adaptive cycling opportunities continues to grow, All Abilities Bike is now offered through two distinct but complementary models: a Camp Structure and a Program Structure.
Each model is intentionally designed to meet different community needs while delivering meaningful, lasting impact.
The Camp Model: Intensive, Individual Impact
The All Abilities Bike Camp is a high-touch, immersive experience designed to help individuals build riding skills in a focused, supportive environment. The Camp is designed for deep, individualized impact. Each camp serves up to 10 participants, allowing intensive instruction, personalized support, and immediate outcomes. Riders leave with their own bike, pedal kit, and helmet, empowering them to continue riding independently beyond the camp experience.
Camp Overview
- Maximum of 10 participants per camp
- Short-term, intensive instruction
- Led by trained instructors. Our camp instructors are trained and certified in the balance bike teaching method.
- Designed to accelerate skill development and confidence
- Participants leave the camp with their own bike, pedal kit, and helmet to continue their riding journey. This ensures that learning does not stop when the camp ends—participants can continue practicing and riding on the bike they are comfortable with in their own communities.
Camp Investment
- $975 per participant ($475 camp fee and $500 for bike and equipment)
This model is ideal for families, community organizations, or partners seeking a personalized experience with immediate, tangible outcomes for individual riders.
The Program Model: Scalable, Long-Term Impact
While camps create deep individual impact, the All Abilities Bike Inclusive Learn-to-Ride Program is designed to scale access and reach hundreds of riders over time.
Program Overview
- Organization-based implementation (schools, nonprofits, community programs)
- Designed for repeated and ongoing use. This equipment remains with the organization, allowing programs to be offered year after year to new participants.
- Empowers local instructors to teach individuals of all abilities how to ride
- The All Abilities Bike Program includes instructor training, certification, and a structured 10-lesson curriculum with detailed lesson plans, ensuring organizations have the tools, confidence, and consistency needed to teach individuals of all abilities how to ride safely and successfully.
What the Program Includes
- 10 adaptive bikes
- 10 pedal kits
- 10 helmets
Program Investment
- $5,500 per program
This model is ideal for organizations committed to building sustainable, inclusive cycling opportunities within their communities.
Expanding Access Through Choice
By offering both camp and program structures, All Abilities Bike meets families, organizations, and communities where they are. Whether the goal is individual skill mastery or long-term systemic access, there is a model designed to deliver results.
Together, these approaches strengthen our commitment to inclusive recreation, physical activity, and independence for individuals of all abilities.
