About Us

We believe in the power of cycling to inspire, connect, and improve communities, one rider at a time.

At the Strider Education Foundation, Inc., our goal is to inspire confidence, independence, and joy through two-wheeled mobility. As a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, we are committed to providing innovative programs that teach the balance bike method to individuals of all ages and abilities how to ride a bike.

WHO WE SERVE

  • Riders with developmental disabilities
  • Neurodivergent learners
  • Older adults benefiting from balance and coordination development
  • Schools seeking inclusive PE solutions for middle and high school aged students
  • Healthcare partners and physical therapists
  • Community Recreation Departments

We began our journey in 2017 when we received our nonprofit status from the IRS. In 2018 our signature program, All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride Program, was launched.  The All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride Program is a national movement to equip schools with everything they need to teach children how to ride a bike during physical education classes. Designed for kindergarteners, this program provides bikes, helmets, and a structured curriculum, giving young learners the foundational skills to ride and fostering a love for active living at an early age.

Today the All Kids Bike program is active in over 1800 schools running in all 50 states and teaching over 180,000 kids how to ride a bike every year!  To learn more about All Kids Bike visit our website www.allkidsbike.org

In August of 2023, we wanted to continue giving individuals the opportunity to learn to ride a bike that may not have had the opportunity at a young age with our All Kids Bike program.  We developed the All Abilities Bike as that next step, inclusive to any age and all abilities.
